Our next meeting will be on

Monday 25th April at 7.30pm

In the Noust at the Picky Centre

This will be an informal meeting - it would be really helpful if we could have a good turn-out for this, as next month – May is our A.G.M. and it would be useful to know how you feel about meeting dates and times, and what the issues are affecting you and your families. PLEASE CONTACT US if you have any ideas.

Would it be an idea to meet twice a month? We could have a meeting on Monday or Wednesday afternoon of the first week of the month from 1.30 to 3.00p.m. People could bring their sandwiches if they liked.

If we met at this time then perhaps it would be easier to have formal links with the Education Department, the Social Work Department, and NHS Orkney. They could be invited to attend the day-time sessions either every month or every other month. This would mean that we could be kept up to date on new developments, and have a chance to voice our opinions before things are firmly decided.

We know these are maybe not the best times during the day – is anyone prepared to organise Morning Meetings?
