APRAXIA

Apraxia is a neurogenic impairment involving planning, executing and sequencing motor movements.

  • Verbal Apraxia - affects the programming of the articulators and rapid sequences of muscle movements.
  • Oral Apraxia - involves non-speech movements.
  • Motor Apraxia - involves programming of hand or whole body movement.
