MySpecialChild - Issue 17 May 2006  E-mail

Welcome to MySpecialChild

Welcome to the May Issue of MySpecialChild and firstly I would like to say thank you to all our visitors for helping us break the half a million visitors mark, which is a major milestone for us. I apologise for making changes to the site once again, regular visitors will know we had problems with our host which forced us into a situation where we had to move the website from myspecialchild.co.uk to myspecialchild.com, it was also brought to my attention that the previous look had a number of problems, especially if you increased the size of the font. This was not very good for people with visual impairments so the changes had to be made.

Last, but not least, I have had a number of emails asking about the forum/discussion room and when it is likely to be back online. It has proved far more difficult than expected moving the forum to the new hosts which is one of the reasons for the delay. Also before we moved the forum was being subjected to constant spam and abuse from non-genuine members and this resulted in large amounts of extra work including on one day having to delete over 80 fake user accounts and numerous posts. The forum will hopefully be back online this month, but in the mean time parentssidebyside.com is well worth checking out as it has an excellent and busy.

Thanks again for everyones support and see you next month.
